Excess baggage to Canada

I am planning to fly to Canada from the United States. However, since I plan to remain in Canada for several weeks while attending classes, I need to take more of my belongings with me than the airlines will allow. I mean, they will allow it but they will charge me an extraordinary amount to do so. Therefore, I need some reliable method to ship my excess baggage to Canada. My baggage will primarily contain my clothing, books, and a computer. So there is nothing that should draw any attention from customs. I just need to be able to have the things I need while I'm in Canada. If you do email me with information, please include pricing, and any limitations or restrictions that I should know about when sending anything into Canada.
